Boston City Singers

The Boston City Singers Dorchester Training Chorus helps young singers learn to read music, play complex rhythmic patterns, and perform in multiple parts using a wide-ranging repertoire in two to three languages.

Now in its 30th season, Boston City Singers provides high-quality musical programming and creative youth development opportunities to young people in the very communities in which they live. With strengths rooted in an unwavering commitment to social justice and the acceptance of differences across socioeconomic status, race, ethnicity, and gender identity, the organization’s programs in Dorchester, Jamaica Plain, and Cambridge welcome singers ages 4 through high school.
