Reese Pike Trio

The Reese Pike Trio brings together piano, bass, and drums to combine diverse global influences in a jazz setting. The group performs original music by Reese and is made up of current and past graduates of the Berklee Global Jazz Institute. Reese is interested in exploring the connections between music and social justice, and she regularly performs in a wide variety of styles, including bringing her jazz trio to the 2024 Iowa City Jazz Festival. She has also opened for Christian Sands and Champian Fulton, and she was especially excited to return home to perform with the Omaha Symphony in 2025. The recipient of the 2024 Jazz Education Network Hal Leonard Scholarship and the 2025 Presser Foundation Undergraduate Scholarship, she is passionate about expanding representation within the jazz world and is currently developing a project about Mexican-American composer María Grever.
