Sound Investigators Atelier

At our Sound Investigators Atelier, children can drop in to explore the unique sounds of Dorchester by listening closely to the music, rhythms, and energy of the neighborhood around them. Kids will identify and represent what they hear, then design and build their own instruments using a variety of open-ended materials. Through experimentation and collaboration, they’ll recreate neighborhood sounds, test new ideas, and express their discoveries through music, movement, and creative play. This hands-on experience invites children to see themselves as curious researchers, artists, and creators of sound. (good for ‘kids’ of any age)
