Daniel Laurent, also known as DL, Is an independent Hip Hop artist who combines the greats that inspired him into an original brew of Hip Hop Soul. Fiercely rooted in storytelling and authenticity, he always uses the ‘medicine in the candy’ approach when crafting his songs to paint a picture of a better world.
Having released 7 albums and being featured on over 15 projects both nationally and internationally, Daniel Laurent believes the live show is 50% of the songs he records. “The live show is everything. That’s the way to touch the people and engage in a way with music that no politician, clergy or family member can.”
